Emily and I are leaving for India tonight. The trip is the culmination of almost a year of planning and I'm excited to see how it unfolds. India is a country that has captured my imagination for 15 years and we designed a three week trip that attempts to capture a few of the many highlights in the vast country. Yes, tree weeks is a long vacation by American standards.... I can't wait.
Our trip will begin in Delhi, then go through Agra to an elephant camp a few hours north. Then on to Jaipur and Udaipur in Rajasthan, with a potential stop in Pushkar. To mix it up, we'll go down south to the state of Kerala, spending time in Cochin and Muhamma before finishing up in Mumbai.
I may squeeze in a coffee meeting or two to get a sense for the business climate over there, but I plan to be mostly off the grid (no email or social media), a necessary therapy after a very busy year.
